Event Concept has invested in a significant amount of Clear-Com wireless products to complement its existing system, including two of the newly launched Arcadia Central Stations, all supplied by Amber Sound.
The creative event production agency had originally purchased a Clear-Com FSII wireless system from Amber Sound in 2019 and had been given some product training at its premises in Bermondsey. With the recent launch of Clear-Com’s Arcadia central station, and the demand on their wireless systems increasing, the team at Event Concept knew that investing in this new intercom technology was key to delivering the extraordinary events they are known for.
Richard Purcell, Head of Data and Inventory explains, “it’s important for our business to continually invest in new products and technology, especially when they integrate with and enhance the equipment we already own. When we purchased the initial system from Amber Sound, we received great sales and technical support, so I felt it was important to work with them on the second system.”
Amber Sound was asked to provide a complete additional wireless system, as well as a second Arcadia to replace the original FSII-BASEII that was supplied. The new system was made up of a total of 10 FSII-BP19-X4-EU belt packs and four FSII-TCVR-19-EU transceiver antennas. Also included, was an AC60 charger, a set of CC-300 single muff headsets and a spare set of rechargeable batteries.
The introduction of the Arcadia to the Clear-Com product range means users for the first time have the option of using FreeSpeak II and HelixNet systems intelligently and on the same software. The base station also offers Dante connectivity and gives FSII users the chance to use an IP antenna on a network, something not previously available on the FSII-BASEII.
The Clear-Com Arcadia has proved popular across the industry, with several customers putting orders in as soon as the product was launched. As one of the first UK recipients of the product, Event Concept put it straight to work at some high-profile venues including the London Stadium, the Royal Opera House and the Natural History Museum.
