We are a professional audio distribution company based in Potters Bar and are looking for someone to join our small but perfectly formed team.

The successful candidate must be a self-motivated and professional individual with a positive 'can do' attitude. This position would suit a recent graduate who is looking to have their first experience in the world of pro audio distribution.

We try to recognise any strengths and build on those, but it may be necessary to carry out duties outside your current expertise. Full training will be available on the products involved and we encourage and assist with employee development as much as possible.

Job description:

  • Office based with occasional visits to UK and overseas trade shows
  • Managing any open days or trade shows the company takes part in
  • Plan and manage detailed schedules of marketing campaigns
  • Ensure all campaigns are compliant with Data Protection regulations
  • Oversee and manage all social media accounts. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.
  • Develop and execute B2B marketing plans that may include PPC, participation in industry conferences and events, webinars, and website updates.
  • Lead and ensure the consistency in the messaging, branding, content, and look-and-feel of all internal and external communications and marketing materials
  • Innovate the way we advertise products and present our brand to generate inbound interest
  • Perform industry and competitive analysis to establish new sales opportunities and markets available to the company.
  • Reports directly to the Commercial Director

Skills:

  • Strong technical skills with some commercial awareness
  • Excellent spoken and written English as well as good listening skills
  • Good time management
  • Professional and respectful attitude
  • Proactive with tasks
  • Creative and have an eye for design
  • Thorough and methodical, giving particular attention to detail
  • Full, clean driving licence

Bonus skills:

  • Familiarity with our core brands
  • Knowledge of the live sound and theatre industry
  • Experience with design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Familiar with eCommerce platform such as Shopify
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Ad Word
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or experience managing B2B marketing channels

Job description:

  • Office based with occasional visits to UK based marketing and training events
  • Communicating with customers via telephone and email, answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email
  • Making outbound calls to potential customers, and responding to enquiries
  • Processing orders that come in by phone, email and occasionally online and keep customer informed of stock and lead times
  • Speaking to suppliers to get stock levels and lead times
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Keeping up with product information and updates
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services
  • Staying informed about competing products and services
  • Liaising with technical colleagues to assist with specifying kit and creating quotes
  • Managing quotes including chasing up on a regular basis
  • Researching and qualifying new leads
  • Assisting with marketing events as and when needed
  • Assisting with receiving and shipping orders if needed
  • Reports directly to the Commercial Director
  • Any other reasonable requests
