The EM Acoustics EMS-101X is a compact, high-performance two-way passive reflex-loaded loudspeaker designed for applications demanding higher output, extended low-frequency performance and precise pattern control from a discreet enclosure. Finished in durable black, it is ideally suited to theatres, live venues, corporate AV, houses of worship and high-end installed sound systems.

The EMS-101X features a 10” neodymium low-frequency driver paired with a 1” exit neodymium high-frequency compression driver, mounted on a rotatable constant-directivity waveguide for flexible horizontal or vertical deployment. This configuration delivers excellent projection, clarity and consistency across the coverage area, making it equally effective for speech intelligibility and full-range music reinforcement. Performance is rated at approximately 75 Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB) with a maximum peak SPL of around 130 dB, supported by 400 W RMS / 800 W programme power handling and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.

Housed in a rigid, multi-angled birch plywood enclosure, the EMS-101X offers a more natural and controlled sound than plastic alternatives while integrating cleanly into both visible and discreet installations. Its passive design allows full optimisation via external amplification and DSP, making the EMS-101X an ideal choice for system designers seeking a compact loudspeaker with serious output, control and long-term reliability.
