The EM Acoustics EMS-126 is a high-output, two-way passive reflex-loaded full-range loudspeaker designed for professional applications where punch, clarity and controlled coverage are required from a compact, versatile enclosure. Finished in durable black, it is well suited to live venues, theatres, houses of worship, corporate AV and demanding installed sound systems.

The EMS-126 is built around a 12” neodymium low-frequency driver paired with a 1.4” exit neodymium high-frequency compression driver, mounted on a rotatable constant-directivity waveguide for flexible horizontal or vertical deployment. This configuration delivers strong low-frequency impact, excellent vocal intelligibility and consistent coverage across the audience area. Performance is rated at approximately 70 Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB) with a maximum peak SPL of around 134 dB, supported by 500 W RMS / 1000 W programme power handling and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, allowing the EMS-126 to operate confidently as a standalone full-range loudspeaker or as part of a larger system with subwoofers.

Housed in a rigid, multi-angled birch plywood enclosure, the EMS-126 offers a more natural and controlled sound than plastic alternatives while providing excellent durability for both portable and fixed installations. Its passive design allows full optimisation via external amplification and DSP, making the EMS-126 a powerful, flexible and reliable solution for system designers seeking premium sound quality and high output from a compact full-range loudspeaker.
