Description
The EM Acoustics EMS-129 is a high-output, two-way passive reflex-loaded full-range loudspeaker designed for professional applications where power, clarity and control are required from a single enclosure. Finished in durable black, it is ideally suited to live venues, theatres, houses of worship, corporate AV, touring systems and demanding installed sound environments.

The EMS-129 is built around a 12” neodymium low-frequency driver and a 1.4” exit neodymium high-frequency compression driver, mounted on a rotatable constant-directivity waveguide to allow flexible horizontal or vertical deployment. This configuration delivers strong low-frequency performance, excellent projection and consistent coverage, making it equally effective for high-impact music reinforcement and intelligible speech. Performance is rated at approximately 70 Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB) with a maximum peak SPL of around 134 dB, supported by 500 W RMS / 1000 W programme power handling and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, allowing the EMS-129 to operate confidently as a standalone full-range loudspeaker or as part of a larger system with subwoofers.

Housed in a rigid, multi-angled birch plywood enclosure, the EMS-129 delivers a more natural and controlled sound than plastic alternatives while offering excellent durability for both portable and fixed installations. Its passive design allows full optimisation via external amplification and DSP, making the EMS-129 a powerful, flexible and reliable solution for system designers seeking high output and premium sound quality from a single, compact enclosure.
