The EM Acoustics EMS-61 is a compact, two-way passive reflex-loaded loudspeaker designed for high-quality sound reinforcement where clarity, control and a discreet aesthetic are essential. Finished in white, it is ideally suited to theatres, corporate AV, houses of worship, hospitality venues and fixed installations where the loudspeaker needs to blend seamlessly into its environment.

The EMS-61 features a 6.5” neodymium low-frequency driver paired with a 1” exit neodymium high-frequency compression driver, mounted on a rotatable 90° × 60° constant-directivity waveguide for flexible horizontal or vertical deployment. Its multi-angled birch plywood enclosure delivers a more natural and controlled sound than plastic alternatives, making it equally effective for speech and music. Performance is rated at 80 Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB) with a maximum peak SPL of 124 dB, 200 W RMS / 400 W programme power handling and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, all within a compact enclosure measuring approximately 368 × 195 × 208 mm and weighing around 7 kg.

The passive design allows full control via external amplification and DSP, while the high-quality textured finish and robust construction ensure long-term reliability in demanding installed environments. Compact, powerful and visually discreet, the EMS-61 is a premium solution for professional sound reinforcement where performance and appearance are equally important.
