The EM Acoustics DU-1209 (01A028) is a genuine 12” replacement low-frequency drive unit designed specifically for the R12 loudspeaker. Manufactured to original factory specifications, it restores the loudspeaker’s intended performance, reliability and tonal balance when carrying out repairs or routine maintenance.

Featuring a high-power 12” cone with a precision motor assembly, the DU-1209 delivers the correct low-frequency response, sensitivity and power handling required to meet the original R12 system design. Using an official EM Acoustics replacement driver ensures accurate mechanical fit, correct electrical characteristics and long-term durability, protecting both the enclosure and associated amplification and DSP.
